Freightline Trucks donates for PVA

A Freightliner Cascadia Tractor generously donated to Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) by Freightliner Trucks, was sold for $70,000 at the Barrett-Jackson auction with proceeds from the sale to benefit PVA.

PVA’s National President Bill Lawson, along with local Arizona Chapter members, as well as representatives from Freightliner Trucks were present for the auction which took place in Scottsdale, Arizona.

“We’re so grateful to Freightliner for this generous donation to our organization and for supporting our nation’s veterans,” says Bill Lawson, national president of PVA. “These funds will help us continue providing free vital programs and services to veterans and their families.”

The 2010 Freightliner Cascadia Tractor was custom painted to illustrate the support of both Freightliner and PVA’s dedication to the military and our nation’s veterans.

“Freightliner Trucks is honored to be a part of a great cause like the Paralyzed Veterans of America,” says Stacey Premo, motorsports marketing manager. “The 2010 Freightliner Cascadia PVA truck is a work of art that was created to honor military personnel everywhere. We are excited for it to find a new home.”

The PVA Freightliner truck was purchased by Mr. Donald Damon and family.
