PN met with one of more than 400 athletes during the 28th Annual National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic
PN was recently in Snowmass Village, Colo., for the 28th Annual National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic (NDVWSC) and had the opportunity to meet dozens of outstanding veterans from across the country.
One veteran in particular was Korean War veteran Anthony Bryant who served in the infantry with U.S. Army. Bryant’s vibrant personality served him well as he continued to serve the public carrying mail for the United States Postal Service for more than 35 years.
The California resident, who enjoys skiing, is no stranger to the NDVWSC, having attended the winter event for 14 years. “Each time I ski, it just gets better,” says Bryant with a toothless smile. “Everyone is so helpful and upbeat … I’ve enjoyed all 14 years here.”
