Paralyzed Veterans of America donates $5000 to the Oklahoma Red Cross to assist those affected by the recent tornado

“Paralyzed Veterans of America understands the importance of extending a helping hand during tough times like these,” says Bill Lawson, national president of Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA). “Oklahoma City residents have been long-standing supporters of PVA’s National Clothing Donation Program and our Mid-America Chapter, and it only seems appropriate that we give back to those who now need our help the most to recover from this devastating tornado.”

Thanks to the support received in Oklahoma of its National Clothing Donation Program, PVA has been able to continue its important work of assisting severely disabled veterans nationally and at the local level through its Chapters, such as the PVA Mid-America Chapter in Oklahoma City.

“It saddens me to see the devastation and loss of life caused by this tornado in my native Oklahoma, but being able to give back to those residents who have lost so much is just a small gesture on our part to support the victims in any way we can,” added Lawson.
