Summer's here and it's time to travel

A website that provides travel news, trends, tips and an extensive database and ratings on accessible hotels, restaurants, city attractions and local transportation has expanded its coverage area.

Expanded wheelchair accessibility coverage and reviews on the website, wheelchairjimmy.com, now include Indianapolis and Cincinnati. In addition, coverage is provided for Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Chicago, Boston and Washington, D.C.

Later this year, coverage will be added for Charleston, W.V., and Savannah, Ga., followed by several Northwest destinations.

Coverage for South America and New Zealand will round out the 2016 plan.

Wheelchairjimmy.com founder Jim Parsons has traveled the globe in a wheelchair on both business and vacation.

The goal of the site is to “make travel more accessible, convenient and comforting for persons with disabilities and their families.”
