Join PN Online and the USO as we pause to thank our troops. On any given day there is an estimated 1,388,000 servicemen and women deployed around the globe in more than 150 countries.
A large percentage of them are serving in hostile, uncertain environments, far from the comforts of home, family and friends. Many servicemen and women have been deployed multiple times, have children they have yet to meet and will most likely spend another holiday far from home.
Help remind them their sacrifice is not futile, and their service is appreciated by writing a personal message of thanks and good wishes. It will help lift their spirit and make a difference.
