Today, October 13th, marks the 248th birthday of the United States Navy. From its humble beginnings with just a few ships during the Revolutionary War, the Navy has grown into the largest and most powerful naval force in the world.
We celebrate the brave men and women, past and present, who have served and sacrificed to protect our nation and its interests abroad. The Navy’s legacy is one of honor, courage, and commitment. Happy birthday to all Navy sailors.
