Paralyzed Veterans of America announced the cancelation of the 2020 Healthcare Summit + Expo, scheduled to take place in Orlando later this year.
“In an effort to promote the health and safety of our staff, Summit attendees and supporters, we felt this was the necessary and appropriate step,” says PVA Executive Director, Carl Blake. “At this point, there was still no certainty as to the status of “stay at home” orders and travel restrictions around the country.”
With the suspension of all travel for Department of Veterans Affairs employees, staff who make up the vast majority of the attendees for the Summit, PVA saw no clear path forward but to cancel the event.
Plans are being made for the 2021 PVA Healthcare Summit + Expo in Dallas in August of next year.
