Testimony 2025

Paralyzed Veterans of America to Present Legislative Priorities to Congress

In a significant annual tradition, Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA) will once again have the opportunity to address Congress regarding its legislative priorities. This crucial testimony will take place before a joint hearing of the Senate and House Committees on Veterans’ Affairs on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. ET.

PVA National President Robert Thomas Jr., will represent the organization during this important congressional appearance. As a scheduled speaker on the second panel of witnesses, President Thomas is expected to begin his testimony between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. ET.

This joint hearing represents one of PVA’s most vital platforms for advocacy, providing the organization with a direct channel to influence legislative action on matters specifically affecting its membership. Through this testimony, PVA aims to advance congressional support for issues of particular concern to paralyzed veterans and others with spinal cord injuries or disorders.

For those unable to watch the hearing as it happens, a recording will be made available afterward, ensuring that all interested parties have access to President Thomas’s testimony and the committee’s response.

This annual testimony underscores PVA’s ongoing commitment to advocacy and its dedication to ensuring that the voices of paralyzed veterans are heard at the highest levels of government, ultimately working toward improved services, benefits, and quality of life for those who have sacrificed for their country.
