Women Veteran Webinar Series

VA Offering Women Veteran Webinar Series

Throughout the rest of September, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is offering a webinar series to help paralyzed women veterans.

Over the next three weeks, the VA will offer four webinars focusing on supporting the whole woman veteran, including leadership and resiliency through the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and beyond. The webinars include:

  • 1-1:30 p.m. ET Sept. 16 — Advice on Transitioning, Employment and Building A Business. This is hosted by VA Deputy Secretary Pamela Powers and will have closing remarks by Dr. Lynda Davis, the VA’s Chief Veterans Experience Officer.
  • 1-1:30 p.m. ET Sept. 22 – Resources for Appeals, Mental Health, Military Sexual Trauma and Supporting Military Spouses. This is hosted by VA Deputy Secretary Pamela Powers and will have closing remarks by Dr. Lynda Davis, the VA’s Chief Veterans Experience Officer.
  • 1-1:30 p.m. ET Sept. 24 – Women’s Reproductive and Whole Health Resources. This is hosted by VA Deputy Secretary Pamela Powers and will have closing remarks by Dr. Lynda Davis, the VA’s Chief Veterans Experience Officer.
  • 3-4 p.m. ET Sept. 30 – Veterans Experience Live (VetXL): Women Veterans – Q&A with Acting Deputy Secretary Pamela Powers and VA Leadership. VA Deputy Secretary Pamela Powers answers your questions.

 

All webinars are free to attend and interested veterans just need to register at va.gov/outreach-and-events/events.
